K-6 Math
Beginning with the 2023-24 school year Grainger County Schools will utilize enVision from SAVVAS as the new Math Curriculum. This curriculum is aligned to the Tennessee State Standards and meets the rigorous expectations of the standards to prepare Grainger County students mathematically. Along with the new curriculum Grainger County students will utilize Successmaker as an intervention to address skill deficits and to challenge students at their current performance levels. Grainger County Schools is committed to accelerating the learning process of students by teaching to the rigor of the standards and providing intervention that is unique to each students learning needs.
Students will take 3 benchmark/diagnostic assessments throughout the year to measure growth towards mastery of the grade level standards. The first benchmark assessment is also used to determine placement into Successmaker based on students' performance. Teachers utilize the data from all benchmark diagnostic assessments to identify students strengths and areas for improvement. This data helps guide intentional instruction to address students specific skill deficits.
